For videos that capture the spirit of fly fishing and the outdoors, these by Eric Stroup are my favorite.
They are ambitious as art, and show a guy who loves his local waters. He wades into fast water, in early spring, and loses about “6 feet of fish” in one video.
He chases small mountain brookies in another, with perhaps more appreciation for the smallest brook trout he catches than the disappointment he conveys at losing a 25 inch brown trout on the Little J.
This is great stuff.
